I got my first inside tour of the demolition site today. Without a hard hat, steel toed shoes, and orange-glo vest, OSHA regulations wouldn’t permit me to walk around. To provide me with all of that paraphernalia, the contractors would have had to go through a lot of red tape so I just piled into Jeff’s car and he drove around the site.
The street was halfway done. Concrete still needed to be carried off. Otherwise the street appeared empty. 
The grapple was already biting off parts of the next section.
At this rate. it didn’t seem like it would take long to complete the project. Long before the projected August date.
